“Why aren't all the results published”?

In very small schools with low pupil numbers, such as ours, there are sometimes classes of fewer than 6 pupils. When groups of children are very small, the low risk of being able to identify an individual child from the data could be seen as unfair. Therefore, it is the policy of both the Department for Education and Ofsted not to publish results data for groups of fewer than 6 children. They call this 'suppressing' data.
